Solander box
A box with a lid hinged at the back and a drop-down front, named after the botanist who devised it for specimens. Lined and fitted to the book, it is the standard protective box of libraries.
A demonstration: the craft terms are real, the site is invented. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; every page is complete without scripts.
