Recto and verso
The recto is the front of a leaf, the right-hand page when the book is open; the verso is its back, the left-hand page. Odd page numbers fall on rectos.
A demonstration: the craft terms are real, the site is invented. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; every page is complete without scripts.
