Three folds give eight leaves and sixteen pages. Most books in the hand are octavos, written 8vo, and most sections of a modern book are octavo gatherings whatever the sheet.
A demonstration: the craft terms are real, the site is invented. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; every page is complete without scripts.
