Agate burnisher

A piece of agate set in a handle. Rubbed over gold laid on the edges of a book, it compacts and polishes the leaf until the edge shines.

A demonstration: the craft terms are real, the site is invented. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; every page is complete without scripts.
